Frequently asked questions

Here are some of the questions we are asked most frequently about the different living options that we offer. If you would like to ask us something else, please contact our team.

What is Build to Rent (BTR)?

Build to Rent apartments are designed, built and managed specifically for renters, with their lifestyles in mind. Residents benefit from professionally managed buildings, thoughtfully designed living spaces and access to a range of shared amenities, all supported by an on-site team.

Why do people choose Build to Rent?

Build to Rent is perfect if you're looking for your own private sanctuary at home but also want the combined benefits of professional management, on-site amenities and a resident-focused experience.  It’s a popular choice for those looking for a well-managed building with space to relax, work and live in their apartment, while still being part of a wider resident community.

Do you have Build to Rent buildings?

Yes, Enclave has two Build to Rent buildings.

Enclave: KX offers one, two and three bedroom premium apartments in London, with a range of on-site resident amenities, just a short walk from King’s Cross St Pancras.

Enclave: Birmingham City offers one, two and three bedroom apartments in the heart of Birmingham, combining spacious apartments with thoughtfully designed resident amenities.

What is Co-Living?

Co-living is a contemporary way of renting that combines private apartments with shared amenity spaces. Apartments are compact by design so that residents enjoy the privacy of their own home while also having access to communal spaces that act as an extension of their home- allowing for working, socialising, relaxing and everyday living.

Enclave co-living buildings also offer all-inclusive rent, with utilities, Wi-Fi and council tax included in one monthly payment, making day-to-day living simple and convenient.

Why do people choose Co-Living?

Co-living is perfectly suited to professionals, students and those new to the city who want more than just a place to live. It’s also the convenience of an all-inclusive rental experience, while having access to shared spaces and opportunities to connect with fellow residents. A flexible living option that combines personal space within a social and supportive environment.

Do you have Co-Living buildings?

Yes. At Enclave: Acton, we offer a range of stylish studio apartments designed to make the most of both private and shared living. Residents have their own apartment to call home, alongside access to a variety of shared spaces and amenities available throughout the building.

Will I have enough privacy in Co-living?

Absolutely. Co-living gives you your own private apartment and personal space to relax, unwind and enjoy independently. Shared spaces are available whenever you'd like to use them, whether that's for socialising, working or simply enjoying a change of scenery.

Can I still be part of a community in Build to Rent?

Yes. Build to Rent is designed to bring residents together through shared spaces, resident events and everyday interactions. You'll have the privacy of your own apartment while still having opportunities to connect with neighbours and take part in community life if you choose.

Is Build to Rent or Co-Living a better option for me?

Both Build to Rent and co-living offer professionally managed homes, high-quality amenities and opportunities to be part of a community. The right choice depends on how you like to live.

If you like your own apartment with more private space, Build to Rent could be the right choice. If you're looking for a more social living experience and the opportunity to meet new people, co-living may be the perfect fit.

What's the difference between Co-living and Build to Rent?

Build to Rent and Co-living share many of the same benefits, including professional management, resident amenities and community-focused living.

The main difference is the amount of private space you have. In Build to Rent, residents have a larger apartment that allows living, working and socialising in the apartment, but also access to shared spaces if they wish. In co-living, residents have a more compact private apartment alongside access to a larger range of shared spaces that act as an extension of their home.

Neither option is better than the other - they simply offer different ways of living, allowing residents to choose the experience that best suits their lifestyle.

Can students live at Enclave?
